Management Team

The Beacon Trust Portfolios are managed by:

Sean Blake (Investment Director) was Treasury Director of Barclays Bank PLC in Ireland.  He previously was Vice President of Citibank NA in Dublin. He has held a number of senior roles with both organisations, ranging from fund management to treasury / currency strategy. He is currently a director of other Irish funds.

Colm Brennan graduated from University College Dublin with a B. Comm. and is also an Associate of the Irish Tax Institute. He began his career as a tax consultant with KPMG. He is currently a Director and Chief Executive Officer of Acumen & Trust DAC, a financial advisory firm, which he co-founded in 1996. He has extensive experience in investment management and tax planning.

David Robb a B. Comm. Graduate from UCD is also an Associate of the Irish Tax Institute. He began his career as a tax consultant with KPMG, subsequently working for Davy Planlife and Ford Finance. He is currently Director of Wealth Management with Acumen & Trust DAC, a financial advisory firm, which he co-founded in 1996. He expertise lies in investment management and tax planning.

David Whitehead graduated from National College of Ireland with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Human Resource Management. He also holds a Masters in Strategic Management & Planning. He began his career as an analyst with Bank of New York Mellon and was most recently an Assistant Vice President at Citibank.
